Things to do in Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam- Mini Guide

Did you know already that Port Ghalib it’s a quite new city? The opening ceremony took place in November 2009. Before the Airport was built in 2001 Port Ghalib was just a large stone desert. Thanks to the dream of one of the richest men in the world Port Ghalib was created. It’s a $2 Billion Dollar investment that is set to redefine the Red Sea Riviera.

Port Ghalib International Marina is unquestionably the region’s largest and one of its most prominent private seaports attracting global travelers and a major stop for thousands of diving trips.

With a variety of water and desert activities there are always a wide variety of options for things to do.

 

Free/low budget activities

·         Take a walk on the International Marina between magnificent yachts and don’t miss shopping corniche.

·         Discover local face of Port Ghalib by bike ride or take a walk in Tower Village district 

·         Grab some snacks/drinks and climb on Port Ghalib Tower to admire the view on the city from the top
